By now most of us have heard about NFL player Colin Kaepernick taking a knee during the national anthem. He did this to show his solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
It's a touchy subject, but Kaepernick's actions brought up good issues and started a national debate on whether or not he was being disrespectful to the flag.
One person who thought he was is Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. According to Ginsburg, his actions were "dumb and disrespectful."

Donald Trump agrees with Ginsburg. He has previously said that Kaepernick should "find a country that works better for him."
Let's not forget that Kaepernick's display of peaceful protest is both lawful and has helped bring up important issues that need discussed.
I'm happy that a debate was started and I'm happy that more of a conversation has been initiated due to his actions, but it's sad that we are still having to discuss these same issues that we have been having as a country for so many years now. People only seem to pay attention when something like this happens. What do you think?
